Another conservative website is being harassed by hackers, as noted in this letter to the editor.

.....................
Editor's note:  ChronWatch is sympathetic to Capitol Resource Institute's report below of its multiple hackings, since ChronWatch was hacked 14 times in 2006-7 by leftwing hackers.  It resulted in ChronWatch moving to its current secure site.

Capitol Resource Institute in Sacramento has been a leader in support of pro-family legislation, including the Marriage Amendment that is on the California ballot for November.  The organization's website is at www.capitolresource.org and Karen England, who is making the announcement below, is executive director of the organization.

Dear Editor:

You may have noticed that Capitol Resource Institute's website was hacked twice yesterday (July 15), in the latest chapter of repeat hacks on this website.  At one point, visits to our website were redirected to another site, and site content was also tampered with.  Please be patient with us, as our webmaster installs security patches and works to prevent another problem.  As some readers know, our webmaster is a skilled professional who manages multiple political websites in California.

This appears to be an intentional attack, designed to interfere in Capitol Resource Institute's communication with citizens.  Our site is the only one, among all the sites maintained by our webmaster, which has been hacked.  The attack comes just as our organization is receiving national attention over our City on the Hill Youth Leadership Conference (COTH), where California youth were stopped from singing patriotic songs in the Sacramento capitol rotunda.  Brit Hume of FOX News covered the story in his Political Grapevine podcast.
