We know from nature that when there's blood in the water, sharks attack.  In politics, when your opponent is perceived as weak, you go on the offensive.  Barack Obama is bleeding in the political waters.  There is a ring of teeth around him.

        What better time to be a Birther.  Obama's poll numbers are dropping. The far left is as disillusioned with him as the far right.  His travels and speeches have done little except apologize.  His hesitant appearance in Copenhagen has shown that green is really the new red.  He has become the political opposite of King Midas.  Everything Obama touches recently has turned not to gold but to political...

        But there is one problem remaining that the opposition to Obama has not yet overcome.  He has three more years to serve as an allegedly usurper President.  What to do about that?

        Obama has been POTUS for almost a year, yet even at this late date, the birth certificate question has not subsided.  World Net Daley reports, "Sean Hannity today defended Sarah Palin's recent comments about Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility for the presidency...He said the question about his original, long-form birth certificate has still not been answered.  What was so wrong in saying...Can we see your birth certificate?'"

        Linda Bently, writing in the Sonoran News reports on the latest attempt to get at the truth about Obama.  She writes, "James Anderer, who owned a Chrysler dealership in Lindenhurst, N.Y...Anderer's dealership was taken away as the result of the federal government's intervention and takeover of Chrysler with the use of TARP funds."

        "After someone referred Anderer to New Jersey Attorney Leo Donofrio's 'Natural Born Citizen' blog, where Donofrio has presented a phenomenal amount of legal research and analysis on the question of Obama's constitutional eligibility as a natural born citizen to hold the office of president, he contacted Donofrio."

        If this case goes forward, then there will be the right of discovery.  As with all legal proceedings, we will have to see what develops.  What is more important, however, is that the Birthers' claims have not gone away.  Furthermore, their challenge to Obama may be looking better as the days pass.

        Over the year, the mainstream media have been negligent in reporting the Obama birth certificate story, claiming it is a fringe conspiracy theory not worthy of their consideration.  Still, the story continues in the alternative media and the efforts continue on the legal front to have Obama release his birth documents.

        We know that Obama has not given permission to have documents about his life released.  They are still under seal.  We know, too, that the state of Hawaii will not release Obama's long form birth certificate which they claim is on file there.

        You have to wonder, in light of this refusal, as Andrea Shea King reports, how Bill O'Reilly can make the claim that, "'The Factor' investigated...we found that President Obama was born in Hawaii.  We sent (for) the documents....'"  What documents? 

        It seems The Factor prefers to interview Obama and not go swimming with him, for O'Reilly later claimed, "As we mentioned, 'The Factor' debunked the whole birth certificate deal more than a year ago.  It was easy.  The state of Hawaii sent us a copy of the document.  End of story." 

        Instead of attacking Lou Dobbs for his request to see Obama's long form birth certificate, the state-run media ought to grill Bill O'Reilly's fishy claims about how he managed to see what so many others want to see---proof that Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural born citizen of the United States. 

        If you listen to Glenn Beck, another Fox personality, the nation is rapidly going to hell in a hand basket.  Yet, the only answer that Beck has to save the country from the Obama administration is something vague like "organize" or "stand up for freedom."  He never mentions the Birthers or their work.

        Those suggestions offered by Glenn Beck are not real alternatives to the removal of a usurper from the White House.  If Glenn Beck is serious about changing the country, he will stop trying to "Re-found America" and just become a Birther, too.  The Birthers have been saying all along what needs to be said, "There is reasonable doubt that Obama is a natural born citizen." 

        One of those sharks making circles around Obama has in its teeth a placard that reads "Where's the Birth Certificate?"  Another is coming in to take a big bite.  Once doubt about Obama's natural born status becomes widespread, the game is over for him. Obama can't out-swim the truth.  The Birthers are poised to become the Afterbirthers.
