The real question that Pelosi, Reid, Obama, and the liberals should be asking, in the words of another long past liberal Pete Seeger, that escapes their lack of reasoning is, “When will they ever learn?  When will they ever learn?''

From Our Writers:
Barack Obama wins the election and immediately turns his focus to the auto industry.  Chrysler and General Motors get bailouts and then a buyout.  Obama proclaims in so many words, “Welcome to the Government Motors Company” (the author’s paraphrase).  Push back begins.  The Tea Party embarks on its protest with thousands of citizens gathering nationwide to raise their voices in dissent.

Afterwards, Obama turns his lusting eyes toward the banking industry along with his cohorts in crime, Ben Bernanke and Tim Geithner.  They throw billions in TARP funds at the banks and demand control over operations and banker’s salaries.  The push back becomes stronger and dissent louder.  Town halls fill up with outspoken constituents calling for senators and members of the House of Representatives to stop the totalitarianism and the socialist movement in Washington, D.C.

Pelosi, Reid, and Obama strut in lockstep (or is that goosestep?) and become more defiant.  Obama rakes the insurance and banking industries over the coals as though they were the demons who cause high prices and depressions with large executive payouts.  Obama presses his demands with greater defiance.  They lock out the Republicans in Congress as they meet behind closed doors with Union members and make promises to their special interest constituents.

Virginia, New Jersey, and other states see elections swing toward conservatism and elect Republican officials.  The Tea Party Express becomes stronger and raises greater dissent in one town hall meeting after another, calling for congressional leaders to cease their lunge toward socialism.  These leaders simply label them “Those Astroturf minorities.”   Democrats minimize the Tea Party Express members as trouble makers, rebels, Nazis, and radicals whose leaders are Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.

Teddy Kennedy passes on with a substitute assuming his Senate seat until a special election occurs.  Attorney General Martha Coakley smugly puts her hat in the ring for the newly open Senate seat with a comfortable 30% lead in the polls.  The liberals sneer and laugh under their breath, “Name a Republican who can come remotely near Kennedy’s seat.  We own it!”

Suddenly an unknown name rises above the noise.  Brown who?   He extends his hand to thousands and declares, “Enough of government takeover!”   Coakley and her supporters conjure up huge belly laughs, “Who are you to run for Kennedy’s seat?”  Brown’s reply is, “With all due respect, this is neither Kennedy’s seat nor the Democrats’ seat.  It’s the people’s seat. “  Another roar of laughter ensues from the liberals, “For over thirty years Kennedy has owned this seat, bought and paid for from the Kennedy dynasty riches.  What do you mean ‘the people’?  Ha!”

The Senate race tightens, and within a couple of months this unknown Scott Brown pulls even with and then ahead of Coakley.  Liberal mouths drop in amazement.  Coakley stays calm and declares, “Who me, shake hands with my constituents, at Fenway Park no less?”  She sneers at a visit to her state from the out-of-state Guliani and laughs about that other Yankee fan Curt Schilling during a radio interview (who turned out to be one of the Red Sox greatest pitchers).  Brown starts widening the lead.  Bill Clinton and Obama attempt to ride in for the rescue.  Just a little over an hour after the polls close on election day, Coakley concedes and calls Brown to congratulate him.

The very same day, Obama becomes even more defiant and declares that he will nationalize the student loan program with over 17.5 million student loans.  Pelosi also announces in almost Martin Luther King language, “We will overcome!  We will push ahead!  We will nationalize health care.  It is our mandate!  We don’t care what the people think.  We want to please King Obama.”  She pauses and then asks from her dictator mindset, “How would I look with a crown.”  Smug.  Deaf.   Condescending.
