» Barack Obama Is No Failure!
By Doug Patton | Published 08/31/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
As he approaches the half-way point of his term, Obama does, indeed, seem hell-bent on serving only four years in office--but the word "failure" may not apply to this man after all.
» Despite the Media, Public Sees Truth About Obama
By Doug Patton | Published 08/27/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
Obama is a man about whom virtually nothing was known prior to him bursting onto the national stage in 2004.  He may well be everything he would like us to believe he is, but the evidence has not been forthcoming.
» Speaking Truth to Race
By Doug Patton | Published 08/11/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated

By Doug Patton | Published 08/2/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
I refer to the new ad campaign, paid for by our tax dollars, selling senior citizens on ObamaCare.  In the spot, Andy Griffith intones reassuringly, as only he can, that "good things are coming," for seniors, including free check-ups and cheap prescription drugs.

By Doug Patton | Published 07/23/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated

By Doug Patton | Published 07/13/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
A Brewer-Jindal ticket might be exactly what we need at this time in our history.
» Is Personal Privacy a Thing of the Past?
By Doug Patton | Published 07/7/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
After all the privacy I have forfeited over the years, you wouldn't think that it would bother me any more, would you? Well, it does.
» The 17th Amendment Was a Very Bad Idea
By Doug Patton | Published 06/29/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
The United States has repealed only one amendment in the 223 years since the Constitution was ratified.  It is time for the 17th Amendment to join the 18th on the ash heap of history.
» Sarah Palin and 2012
By Doug Patton | Published 06/17/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
As one of the most knowledgeable public figures in the country on the issue of energy policy, Sarah Palin can take the conservative message right into the center of the storm.
» Why Americans Should Love Partisanship
By Doug Patton | Published 06/8/2010 | From Our Writers | Unrated
Over the last several years, Americans have gotten the impression that partisanship is an unhealthy affliction in our public discourse.  Too many of us have come to believe that it is somehow important for politicians to agree to get along, even during election years.
