» A Few Words to the Wise
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 07/21/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
I never believed Al Gore when he claimed to have invented the Internet, but I never doubted for a moment that he had a lot to do with foisting IMs on the rest of us.  It has his carbon fingerprints all over it.
» That's No Man, That's My Wife
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 07/12/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
The California Supreme Court recently decided by a 4-3 margin to green light same-sex marriages.  In doing so, they overturned a ballot measure that 61% of the voters approved in 2000, which stated that “only marriage between a man and a woman is valid and recognized in California.”
» The Law Is an Ass
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 07/7/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
I often find myself wondering how seemingly normal people ever wind up being criminal defense attorneys.
» Dealing With the Foreign Question
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 06/28/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
Heaven only knows how much national treasure we’ve doled out to the ungrateful likes of the Palestinians, the Yemenites, and the Syrians, just so they can continue biting the hand that feeds them.

» Barbara Walters Made Whoopee
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 06/21/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
Barbara Walters, in order to hype her new book, has been blabbing all over the place about an affair she and former Massachusetts Senator Edward Brooke carried on during the 70s.  That is, the 1970s, not their seventies, although, in my opinion, that would have been far more newsworthy.
» That's No First Lady, That's My Wife
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 06/14/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
I must confess that I got a chuckle out of Barack Obama’s warning us all to lay off his wife.  Sorry, pal, but it’s too late in the game for that.  If you didn’t want her to be a legitimate target, you should have told her to stay at home with the kids and to keep her yap shut.
» Dealing With Bullies and Appeasers
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 06/7/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
Is it just possible that Barack Obama has never had to learn how to deal with a real life bully?  If that’s the case, I sure don’t want him getting on-the-job training at America’s expense.
» Why Jews Vote the Way They Do
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 05/31/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
If I am asked one question by my readers far more frequently than any other, it’s why do so many American Jews insist on aligning themselves with the far left.  Believe me, being Jewish myself, it’s the question I most frequently ask myself.
» Murtha, Obama, and the Jews
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 05/24/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:

In case you missed it, John Murtha said that John McCain is too old to be president.  Of all the lines I’ve heard during this political season, that’s the one I enjoyed the most.  There are, by actual account, 21 Democrats in the House as old or older than 71-year-old McCain.  Charles Rangel is coming up on 78 and John Dingell is 81.  I bet they gave Murtha an earful in the men’s room.

» Placing Liberals Under the Microscope
By Burt Prelutsky | Published 05/17/2008 | From Our Writers | Rating:
What makes liberals so endlessly fascinating isn’t just that they manage with a consistency that verges on the miraculous to be wrong on every important issue, but the latitude they extend to their political leaders to lie, cheat, and steal.
