Condi Rice worries me. She over-compensates again!
By Charlotte Baker | Published  03/31/2006
Condoleeza Rice has revealed (too many times now) her penchant for over compensating. There is a fragility about her which I believe can be perceived even in her facial gestures. There is a scared rabbit inside of this Condi. She is too quick to appease, and it's not only unprofessional, but this is now making me very nervous. It's possibly another example of how George W. Bush rewards loyalists (some might say sycophants) with jobs for which they are not qualified. The Harriet Miers nomination to SCOTUS is another example. Ditto "Brownie" at FEMA................and all of the above are additional examples of the personality profile of the astrological sign of Cancer - favoring perceived friends, allies and associates of very long standing (decades of loyalty), over more qualified, effective people. The same might be said of how he brought Karen Hughes back from retirement in Texas and sent her out on that ridiculous, embarrassing fool's errand to "listen to Muslims' complaints about America" in the ME. Sorry about this, but our otherwise fine president has some serious flaws, and Condoleeza Rice may be the biggest and potentially most dangerous manifestation of the flaw. If he had thought in a more detached manner about the truly most qualified person to replace Colin Powell, surely he would have come up with a seasoned, experienced career diplomat.............not a woman who continues to blabber about how her highest ambition in life is to become the NFL Commissioner. Something is really wrong with the whole picture. Blindspots in U.S. presidents (like Nixon's paranoia) can become fatal flaws, if not pointed out and corrected.
